{"id":22,"date":"2012-06-19T16:56:40","date_gmt":"2012-06-19T16:56:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/staging-testing\/?page_id=22"},"modified":"2025-09-17T12:10:00","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T19:10:00","slug":"accuplacer-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/testing\/accuplacer-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Accuplacer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ uses a computerized placement test called <em><strong>Accuplacer<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0to help identify which math and writing classes are the best fit for you! \u00a0Accuplacer now offers a <a title=\"Web-Based Study App\" href=\"https:\/\/accuplacerpractice.collegeboard.org\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Web-Based Study App<\/a>\u00a0enabling you to practice and sharpen your knowledge in the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000\">Arithmetic, Elementary Algebra, College-Level Math, Reading Comprehension and Sentence Skills fields. \u00a0After completing your <a title=\"Web-Based Study App\" href=\"https:\/\/accuplacerpractice.collegeboard.org\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Web-Based Study App<\/a>,\u00a0we recommend you view the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.collegeboard.com\/prod_downloads\/student\/testing\/accuplacer\/accuplacer-sample.pdf\">sample questions<\/a>\u00a0provided by the College Board, prior to your scheduled test appointment.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scheduling to take the Accuplacer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please fill out and submit an <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/q8KmDPHrAwaMfBhc8\">Accuplacer Request<\/a> form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will receive an email with instructions on attending the Zoom meeting to be proctored by us while taking your Accuplacer exam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be sure to have your EOU student identification card or driver&#8217;s license with you to identify yourself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of notes, books and calculators is not allowed during the assessment; scratch paper and pencil&nbsp;are allowed. Some math questions may include an on-screen calculator for your use. There is no time limit; the average time used is 1.5 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Follow-Up With Your Advisor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your Accuplacer scores will be shared with you during your advising appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scores do not appear on your transcript.
