The applicant must be an upper division student in good standing with the university and have completed a minimum of twelve credit hours of creative writing (fiction, poetry, and non-fiction).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The responsibilities of the editor include but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Distribution and promotion of\u00a0<em>Oregon East<\/em>\u00a0in Fall quarter<\/li><li>Creating and submitting a budget to the Student Fees Committee<\/li><li>Calling for submissions of writing and art work through campus media<\/li><li>Read manuscripts and make decisions on accepting and rejecting work<\/li><li>Maintain regular office hours<\/li><li>Establishing deadlines for submissions of copy<\/li><li>Layout and design of the magazine<\/li><li>Proofreading<\/li><li>Maintaining a working relationship with the advisor of the magazine<\/li><li>Orientating the new editor<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The editor must be a part-time upper division or graduate student of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
