Corey will serve a four-year term as a regular trustee, while student and faculty representatives Durfee and Keller serve two-year terms.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-4\"\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/mountaineer-magazine\/files\/2019\/04\/SusanCorey.jpg\" title=\"Susan\" alt=\"Susan\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<strong>Susan Corey, \u201973 Elementary school teacher, lifelong Pendleton resident, philanthropist, rancher<\/strong><br \/>\nBetween baseball games and family birthdays, Susan has volunteered with the Pendleton Arts Council, the EOU Foundation, and many other organizations. In 2016 she received the Al and Pat Reser Civic Leadership Award. Her family has many long-time ties to the region, including Mac Hoke! Her daughter is an EOU online alumna, and Susan is proud of EOU\u2019s commitment to transfer and online students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople who finish their education or even start their education when they have a family, I admire them at the top of the list. To persevere and do that is amazing \u2026 I want EOU to become very successful because I feel like it\u2019s a gem to the region.\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/br><\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-4\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/mountaineer-magazine\/files\/2019\/04\/Gary-Keller-Photo.jpg\" title=\"Gary Keller\" alt=\"Gary Keller\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<strong>Faculty Representative: Gary Keller, Business Professor<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cI want to contribute my years of international experience and community service as an educator and business professional to advance the mission of EOU. Succinctly put, my values are: results rather than rhetoric, competence rather than connections and innovation rather than complacency.\u201d\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/br><\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-4\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/mountaineer-magazine\/files\/2019\/04\/Quentin2.jpg\" title=\"Quentin\" alt=\"Quentin\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<strong>Student Representative: Quentin Durfee, Chemistry-Biochemistry Junior<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cI expect excellence from myself and want to portray that in all I do. I have had wonderful leaders in my life, including my PA in the Oregon National Guard, Ryan Burns, who I practice medicine under as a Combat Medic\/Healthcare Specialist.
