Application fees are waived for International Exchange Students.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Online students-Payment for academic coursework is required prior to beginning courses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-eastern-red-background-color has-text-color has-background no-border-radius wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/slate.eou.edu\/apply\/\">Start the Application<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #4f4f4f\">Freshman<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To be considered for admission, international students applying from high school must have:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The equivalent to a standard U.S. high school diploma (modified, honorary, or other non-standard diplomas are not recognized).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A grade point average equivalent to 2.75 on the U.S. 4.00 scale.&nbsp;&nbsp;Official transcripts must be submitted in English. Transcripts should be evaluated by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wes.org\/\">WES<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/spanside.secure.force.com\/SpantranApplication?Id=40439359-c417-4737-bfff-ff34a32d8284\">SpanTran<\/a>&nbsp;or another&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.naces.org\/members.html\">NACES<\/a>-approved organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1ao-rqvMGqoy3xbQRLiFEbhCbfVpwt0qv\/view\">English proficiency<\/a>&nbsp;as demonstrated by one of the following: a minimum score of 61 on the internet-based TOEFL exam or 500 on the paper-based&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ets.org\/toefl\">TOEFL<\/a>&nbsp;exam; a minimum score of 5 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ielts.org\/en-us\">IELTS<\/a>&nbsp;exam; or satisfactory completion of level 112 in an English language school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verification of finances through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eou.edu\/international\/files\/2025\/12\/Affidavit_of_Support_25_26.pdf\">Affidavit of Support<\/a>\u00a0form and bank statements (current to within 6 months of application).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To be considered for admission, international transfer students must have:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The equivalent to a minimum 2.25 cumulative grade point average on the U.S. 4.00 scale taken from an accredited college or university. Official transcripts must be submitted in English.
