Professional Development:<\/strong><\/td>Training will be provided by department faculty and the student supervisor. Additional training opportunities may include collaboration with EOU Library staff for archiving and curating materials.<\/td><\/tr>
Summary of Job Duties\/Responsibilities\/Essential Functions:<\/a><\/strong><\/td>– Create and work within deadlines to complete tasks or special projects
– Conduct literature reviews
– Identify and locate credible resources related to specific historical topics or problems
– Evaluate the credibility of gathered information
– Apply effective historical methodology
– Organize and categorize research materials<\/td><\/tr>
Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/td>– Enrolled EOU student
– Demonstrated interest in history, research, or related fields
– Evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills
– Proof of Federal Work Study Eligibility<\/td><\/tr>
Preferred Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/td>– Previous research experience
– Familiarity with academic databases and library research tools<\/td><\/tr>
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<\/strong>:<\/td>– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
