Professional Development:<\/strong><\/td>Students receive on-the-job training in custodial best practices, proper equipment use, and chemical safety. They\u2019ll build experience in facility management and workplace professionalism, helpful for roles in operations, logistics, hospitality, and more.<\/td><\/tr>
Summary of Job Duties\/Responsibilities\/Essential Functions:<\/a><\/strong><\/td>– Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize residential hall spaces
– Clean windows, walls, fixtures, and furnishings
-Clean kitchens and living rooms
– Disinfect restrooms and maintain sanitary supplies
– Perform minor repairs such as tightening screws or re-hanging curtains
– Assist with campus moves and event setups
– Remove trash from building entryways
– Other duties as assigned<\/td><\/tr>
Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/td>– Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
– Ability to follow verbal\/written instructions and safe work practices
– Basic communication and interpersonal skills<\/td><\/tr>
Preferred Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/td>– Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
– Dependability and a willingness to learn new tasks<\/td><\/tr>
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<\/strong>:<\/td>– Familiarity with cleaning tools or custodial equipment helpful but not required
– Team-oriented mindset and ability to work independently when needed<\/td><\/tr>
