Job Duration	Approximately 40-60 hours until the end of the academic year (June). This is a short-term project-based position and will conclude once the scanning is completed. Working during enrollment breaks is welcomed but not expected.

Estimated numbers of hours per week	Approximately 10-15 hours per week, depending on workload and student availability.
Experiential Learning:	In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with digital archiving and document management systems. You’ll develop technical skills with scanning equipment and enhance your attention to detail—both valuable skills for future administrative, library, or data management roles.
Professional Development:	Training will be provided on scanning equipment and best practices in digital archiving. You’ll also learn basic file organization techniques and gain real-world experience in maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:	– Prepare documents for scanning, ensuring they are organized and ready for processing. – Use scanning equipment to create accurate digital copies of physical documents. – Name and save scanned files to the correct folders, organized by subject and year. – Conduct quality checks to ensure legibility and accuracy of scanned files. – Maintain the confidentiality of documents throughout the process. – Complete other related tasks as assigned to support the successful completion of the project.
Minimum Qualifications:	– Must have Federal Work Study. – Basic computer skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. – Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. – Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:	– Previous experience with scanning equipment or digital file management. – Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google, or similar programs.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:	– Strong time-management and organizational skills. – Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy. – Good communication skills for coordinating with supervisors.
